It is a perfect hideaway offering peace and tranquillity. Situated on the shores of beautiful Caragh Lake in County Kerry, you will find the cleanest air in Europe, beautiful gardens and natural green woodlands with spectacular views across the still waters to the wildness of the Kerry Mountains.
The beautifully appointed bedrooms, drawing rooms and the Lakeside Restaurant overlook Caragh Lake and the majestic Kerry mountains. At the heart of the Carrig Country House Hotel experience is genuine old fashioned Irish hospitality provided by Frank, Mary and their professional team.
All bedrooms are ensuite and most have either King Size beds or Twin beds (2 single beds). Some rooms are available with three single beds. They are decorated in period style and feature antique furnishings.
Carrig boasts one of the finest restaurants in Kerry using the best local farm and garden produce plus an abundance of fresh fish from the nearby Atlantic. Our lakeside Restaurant is open to non-resident diners.
The four acre gardens contain a magnificent selection of rare and unusual plants from all corners of the world including various species of acer, magnolia, cornus, acacia and eucryphia.
Carrig Country House is centrally located for touring the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, Killarney National Park as well as Skellig Michael Carrig which is an ideal base for hill walking, mountain climbing, horse riding, fishing, fishing, wind surfing and sailing. There are 15 wonderful golf courses in the area, the nearest just a 10 minute drive away.
