Moynish House is a traditional fmaily run guesthouse, situated overlooking Clewbay and beside the Great Western Greenway in Mulranny, County Mayo.

Moynish House has been in the Moran family for the past 80 years and operated by Shelia and Ciaran Moran since 1963. Bedrooms at Moynish House are all ensuite with tea- and coffee-making facilities, iron and ironing board and trouser press. There is free car parking for guests.

The guesthouse is literally a stone’s throw from Mulranny Beach, world class hill walking, Westport House family park, fishing at nearby Newport River, Lough Mask, Beltra and Lough Corrib.

The rooms and pub have views of the beach, Clew Bay and Croagh Patrick Mountain that are beaten by none. They are also only 100 metres up the road from the Park Inn Hotel, so if you are attending a wedding and looking for a place to stay Moynish House is ideal.

Westport is a charming, picturesque town located in one of the most spectacular scenic areas in Ireland on the shores of Clew Bay at the foot of Croagh Patrick. The area is rich in landscape, archaeological and historical heritage, in short, ideal for those who wish to explore on foot. From gentle strolls to more challenging mountain climbs, Westport has some magnificent walking trails.
