Westport House Caravan & Camping Park is set in the magnificent grounds of Westport House, one of the most beautiful country parks in Ireland. The County Mayo property overlooks Clew Bay and comprises a lake, terraces, gardens, beautiful woods, a historic house and family adventure park. It is ideal for families, couples and hikers alike. Westport House is proud to provide a range of on-site facilities for campers, including free hot showers, WiFi, electrics, waste water, recycling, and picnic and washing up areas. Additionally, there is a shop, laundry facilities, and bar with food daily and music at the weekends. Guests are also welcome to avail of a number of free activities, such as tennis, table tennis, pitch and put, fishing, the Pirates Den soft play area, play ground, sand pit, movie nights and teen disco at the weekends. Other features of the property include Westport House, an 18th-century historic home with original architecture, antiques and art as well as tours and tea rooms. The Pirate Adventure Park, meanwhile, has a range of thrilling rides perfect for younger children. Westport and the Clew Bay region are bustling with activity. Nearby, visitors will find the majestic Croagh Patrick and a range of Blue Flag beaches. On a rainy day, guests can enjoy the local leisure centre and cinema in Westport, or take a short drive to the National Museum of Country Life and Foxford Woolen Mills. And for a longer day trip, Clifden, Achill, Connemara, the Aran Islands and Galway are all only an hour’s drive away.
