Wolfhound run small-group hike, bike and mixed activity adventure tours of Ireland for all ages. The tours feature a mix of outdoor activity and history and heritage. On a Wolfhound adventure you’ll be expertly guided by an award-winning guide, you’ll ‘explore more’ as you leave the coaches behind, and you’ll get to see some of the North’s hidden corners.
On Wolfhound we bring our bikes with us on our custom-built trailer so you are free to hike and bike really when you feel like it. But there’s so much more ... you can horse-ride, surf, take a sea-weed bath or just relax and watch the world go by. We overnight in cosy B+B’s and small hotels away from the mainstream.
Wolfhound’s 5 Day North ‘In the Footsteps of Giants’ Adventure takes you to some well-known favourites like the Rope Bridge and Giant’s Causeway but also to some of the north’s lesser known but stunning locations such as Downhill Strand, Binevenagh Mountain and Slieve Gullion. You can take a black taxi tour of Belfast and walk Derry City’s walls. You’ll hike the Causeway Coast and bike through the wilds of Donegal if you wish.
The Northern Adventure also explores the Republic’s Northwest through counties Donegal, Sligo and through the Lakelands of Roscommon. This is a wonderful opportunity to really discover the North of Ireland’s hidden secrets. You’ll learn all about past troubles and Northern Ireland’s peaceful present and you’ll have all the fun of a healthy adventure holiday along the way.
Tours Depart from Dublin on Mondays. Belfast pick-ups also.
Wolfhound is also available for private and family-group hire.
