Mr Colum O'Riordan
The Irish Architectural Archive was established in 1976 to collect and preserve material of every kind relating to the architecture of the entire island of Ireland, and make it available to the public.
The Irish Architectural Archive, Ireland’s buildings record and architectural drawings collection, is located in No. 45 Merrion Square, the largest terraced Gregorian house on the Square. Built in the mid 1790s and situated directly across Merrion Square from Leinster House, visit the Archive to explore this grand Georgian palazzo and to enjoy the regularly-changing exhibitions in the Architecture Gallery.
Light-filled, interconnected reception rooms on the first floor of the Archive offer a range of venues and facilities: meeting rooms for up to twenty; multi-media lecture, seminar or conference facilities for up to 55, banqueting space for up to 80, and receptions for up to 250.
