Ballyvaughan Cottages are a small family owned and managed group of five, three star self-catering cottages, located in a secluded courtyard off the main street of Ballyvaughan village, surrounded by the magical Burren district of county Clare and on the mid point of the Wild Atlantic Way.
Ballyvaughan Cottage's location allows their guests to enjoy the services of the unspoilt coastal village of Ballyvaughan, explore the many attractions of the Burren or plan day trips north and south of the Wild Atlantic Way.
The entrance to the cottages is through an open Archway off the main street of the village. Each cottage has its own private garden, and the interiors are spacious and bright. The cottages feature either two or three bedrooms, with the space to accommodate up to four or six adults, respectively. Additionally, a travel cot/ crib and high chair are available on request. Guests will find a fully equipped kitchen as well a cosy open-plan living and dining space with a fire effect electric fire, TV and stereo unit. Bed linen, hairdryer, ironing facilities and WiFi are provided free.
In and around Ballyvaughan, visitors can explore a host of attractions and activities. Highlights include the Aillwee and Doolin Caves, Aran Islands, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, Cliffs of Moher, Corcomroe Abbey and much more. Popular activities on offer are bird watching, clay pigeon shooting, cycling, diving, dolphin watching, golfing, horse riding, angling, surfing and walking.
