The four-star Georgian Heritage Lisdonagh house is beautifully situated in the heart of fishing country, a 20 minute drive north of Galway City. Lisdonagh House is set in over 100 acres of woodland on an elevated site with views over Lough Hackett.

Lisdonagh House is a lovely early Georgian manor house, with stunning oval entrance hall with late eighteenth century murals. Large proportioned reception rooms with a fine staircase. Luxurious bedrooms furnished throughout with antiques and decorated in period style. The property also features an elegant dining room and drawing room with open log fire and rustic bar at garden level.

Lisdonagh's bedrooms have each been named after a prominent Irish Artist with four suites offering superb lake views. All are individually decorated with period furnishings and have luxurious private bathrooms with shower and/or bathtub.
Enjoy fine dining, using the best of local ingredients, Finola who is Ballymaloe trained is a great promoter of artisan food. Dining is by prior arrangement and for house guests only.

Set in over 100 acres Lisdonagh enjoys commanding views over Lough Hackett, a private lake which forms part of the estate, and legendary Knochma Mountain.

Lisdonagh House is ideally located to explore the ancient city of Galway, a 15 to 20 minute drive away. If your interest is music, theatre, history or shopping you will not be disappointed.
It is possible to get a ferry from Galway City to the Aran Islands daily in season. The three islands, Inismaan, Inishmore and Inisteer are formed from a limestone ridge. The largest, Inishmore, is eight miles long and two miles wide.

Lisdonagh is a terrific vantage point from which to explore Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey, home to the Benedictine nuns, and scenic Clifden.

Nearby Ashford Castle in Cong is the former home of the Guinness Family and has beautiful gardens to visit. The picturesque village of Cong was the location for the Quiet Man.
