Atlantic Villa, The Cablemaster's House, is a spacious historic residence overlooking the sea. It was built in 1873 and is located on Ireland's most westerly inhabited island, the unspoiled location of Valentia Island, County Kerry.

Atlantic Villa, being on The Wild Atlantic Way overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, is ideally situated in the heart of Knightstown village, yet secluded with its own private organic gardens. The house was built for the cable master at the time of Trans-Atlantic cable that was laid from Valentia Island to Heart's Content, Newfoundland, Canada.
Atlantic Villa has four bedrooms, all ensuite, with open fire places and a sauna. The sitting, dining room and the library and TV room all have open fires. Free WiFi is available for guest use. A full traditional Irish breakfast or a wide selection of items on the breakfast menu using fresh produce from the owner's garden, hens and bees and home baking, is available.
Atlantic Villa is a short walk to all local amenities and attractions including local pubs, restaurants, cafes, shop and book shop. Diving, fishing, swimming, kayaking, sailing, walking trails, sub tropical gardens, tennis court, playground, ice cream parlour, candle factory, spectacular cliffs and viewing points, and the beach are all located nearby. Harbour boat trips to nearby Beginis Island or trips to the Skelligs with a packed lunch can be organised upon request.
Valentia Island is located close to world class golf courses and is convenient for those touring the Ring of Kerry. It is part of the International Kerry Dark Sky Reserve so it is an ideal location for star gazing without light pollution.
