Baileys is a detached home located a short 5-minute walk from the renowned Portstewart golf club, location for the 2017 Irish Open, Portstewart Strand and award winning beach restaurant, Harry's Shack. A world-famous tourist destination, with the Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, Bushmills Distillery and many film locations for HBO's Game of Thrones nearby. Baileys is the perfect location to enjoy the Causeway Coast, play world class golf courses and soak up the fantastic coast. Gerard and Kirsty McAuley own and run Baileys Airbnb. We know the area extremely well, are local surfers, own horses and love living in this beautiful part of Northern Ireland, especially being so close to the beach. We are very happy to help and advise guests on the many activities and range of tourist attractions on offer and we know many of those involved offering different activities. We are happy to recommend local restaurants and to book a table in advance. This particularly applies to Harry's Shack, the award-winning restaurant on our local beach. The perfect getaway by Portstewart beach.

We are 5 minutes from the multi-awarding restaurant, Harry's Shack, which is located right on the beach. Many other restaurants are a short drive away, with a range of pubs, cafes and other tourist attractions. With an ever-expanding tourist season, Portstewart and the Causeway Coast offer all year visitor attractions, destinations and loads of activities. The area is famous for many events, including the International North West 200 motorcycle races. In 2017, the Irish Dubai Duty Free Irish Open Golf tournament, attracting the likes of Rory McIlroy, Ryder Cup Captain, Darren Clarke and many more. The coast and countryside are a haven for those who enjoy the outdoors, with activities ranging from Golf, surfing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, fishing, horse riding, walking, coasteering, photography and much more, full information can be found at http://www.visitcausewaycoastandglens.com/

Renowned for its restaurants and pubs, you can enjoy "the craic" and maybe a glass of Guinness or Bushmills whiskey, after a great day experiencing the Causeway Coast!

A wide range of tourist information leaflets, activities information and maps are freely available for all guests.

Guests may leave their boots or shoes in the utility room if wet. General good behaviour and respect for the area and our home is expected. Quiet hours are normally after midnight and we trust guests will respect this if returning late. Excessive noise could mean guests being requested to leave. Guests ignoring any health & safety policies, including no smoking, will be asked to leave without any refund.

Breakfast is served in the open plan dining area, with a choice of cereals, toast or croissants, tea, coffee and fruit juice, yogurt and fruit. Alternatives may be available on request. There is an outside decking area with table, chairs and loungers for sunny days and evenings on request. Please note, whilst the living space of our home is open plan, the lounge area and kitchen are private. Bathroom, with bath, shower, WC and wash basin, (all towels are provided). The bedroom has a hairdryer and ample bedding, (extra bedding can be provided). Laundry and drying facilities are available for clothes, outdoor wear and coats etc. @ £2 per wash & £2 per dry. An iron and ironing board is also available on request.
