The Electric Mouse pub has been in existence for many years and was given a name change and extensive renovation in 2006. Downstairs it retains the feel of a traditional friendly Irish pub and the frontage remains in line with its period and local architectural features. A new extension has been built upstairs and to the rear providing a well-equipped entertainment venue with a late licence. The pub is traditional Irish with Irish and acoustic music sessions, TV screen for sporting events, recently refurbished for maximum comfort, with a capacity for approx. 150 people. The venue is available for special events including private parties, monthly comedy club, DJs and live music; separate smoking area; two bars; dedicated bathroom facilities; above average sound, light and stage; huge plasma screen TV for those big sporting events; stage cameras feeding live-action monitors; capacity caberet style for approx. 200; capacity dancing for approx. 300. There are three well-stocked bars upstairs and down with Irish and imported draught and bottled beers, state-of-the-art cold room, wines and a wide range of spirits.
