The property boasts six bedrooms, four bathrooms and three large living areas and is situated on its own large, landscaped and well maintained garden, very secluded and private. It has two decks and a barbecue for outdoor living.

The property is just 10 minutes walk from the shops, bars and restaurants of Oughterard, with footpaths and street lights to the town centre. Oughterard is a very picturesque town situated on the Owenriff River and on the shores of Lough Corrib and is known as The Gateway to Connemara. The town is well known for its angling on Lough Corrib, for the 13th Century Aughanure Castle and boasts an 18 hole golf club as well as pony trekking, walks and hill walking.

It is an ideal place from which to tour Connemara, Galway, north Clare and south Mayo. The city of Galway and its famous Salthill beach is only 24 kilometres away. Galway hosts many festivals and lots of entertainment throughout the year, including the very popular Galway race meeting.
