O'Connor's Guesthouse is situated in the heart of Doolin village over looking the Aiille River. The Guesthouse is five minutes stroll from Pubs, shops and Restaurants.

All rooms at O'Connors guesthouse have direct dial telephone, television, tea/coffee facilities, and hairdryers. The guesthouse is wheelchair-accessible and seven of the rooms are on the ground floor, two of which were purposely designed to cater for people with accessibility needs. The breakfast menu caters for a wide range of tastes.

The region around Doolin offers a wide variety of activities for all tastes. Doolin is world-famous for traditional Irish music, and traditional Irish music can be heard nightly in all three pubs throughout the summer, and at weekends during the winter.

For the walking enthusiasts, The Burren is a unique limestone region of approximately 300 square kilometres. It is a paradise for botanical and geological excursions, as well as archaeologists or cavers. The Burren is famous for its landscape, wildflowers, the ring forts, and places of archaeological interest. Guests can find abandoned villages and walk on green roads for miles without ever seeing a car.

Guests may be interested to take the ferry and visit the Aran Islands. 30 minutes by boat will transport you to the world of the mystical old Ireland. The ferry leaves several times daily from Doolin Pier.

Doolin Cave (Poll an Ionain), was discovered in 1952. It is open to the public and guests can view one of the longest free hanging stalactites in the world (at 7 metres). Ailwee Cave is an impressive show cave and offers guided tours. It is about 20 minutes drive away from Doolin. While Doolin Cave is open to the public, the rest of the cave system around Doolin attracts more experienced cavers and potholers.

For the golfers, between Fisherstreet and Doolin Pier may be found a 9-hole pitch and putt course, and the 18-hole championship course at Lahinch is just a 20 minute drive from Doolin.

O'Connors guesthouse are winners of the Golden Thought Tourism Award and recommended by La Guide du Routard, Lets go Ireland, and Michele Erdvig of IrelandYes.com.
