Bridget and Conor O'Connell are the proprietors and managers of Gleann Fia Country House. They are all their working lives actively involved in the hospitality industry and look forward to welcoming you to County Kerry, Killarney and their property and home - Gleann Fia Country House.
Gleann Fia Country House is a Victorian style Guest House situated on acres of gardens with woodland and the river "Deenach" flowing to the lakes of Killarney. We are located just 2km from Killarney town centre.
The guest facilities on ground entrance floor include, Reception area, Lounge, Conservatory and Breakfast room. The Guest bedrooms with complimentary accessories, free WiFi, Multi channel TV/Radio are all individually decorated some with antiques and all overlooking our natural surrounds.
The Guest lounge with an open fire, reading, DVD classical movies and CD music libraries, all for guest use. In the conservatory guests have complimentary hot beverages / snacks and an honour bar. Outside patio with seating. Free WiFi is available throughout the property with password.
The breakfast room, serves a daily buffet of juices, health cereals, home yogurts, fresh fruits, local cheeses, salami, homemade brown bread, homemade preserves and honey from the garden Apiary. Cooked to order breakfast from the Kitchen.

Killarney town could be best described as a town within a park, used as a base for exploring the National Park, Muckross House and Gardens, Muckross Abbey, Ross Castle, Torc Waterfall, The Gap of Dunloe and The Lakes of Killarney.
Scenic driving to The Ring of Kerry, Dingle and Beara Peninsulas. Each of these peninsulas is a one day excursion by car or motorbike and should not be rushed.
For outdoor activities, there are Championship golf links and parkland courses, Lake and River fishing, Hill and Vale walking. Guided tours on the Kerry Reeks and Corran Tuathail Ireland's highest mountain.
