The site includes all basic facilities and is surrounded by many of the west's major attractions. The Great Western Greenway and the Wild Atlantic Way is located not too far away.
The park is situated just 8 kilometres from Castlebar; the family-run campsite has 20 pitches as well as showers, laundry facilities, electricity hook ups. Shops and pubs can be found within 200 metres, while Castlebar offers cinemas, theatre, golf course, restaurants and a swimming pool.
While staying at Carra Caravan and Camping Park, visitors will find a number of wonderful attractions on their doorstep. The Museum of Country Life is located in nearby Turlough, and Knock Shrine, Westport House, Ballintuber Abbey, Morehall Forest Park and beautiful Lough Carra are all within easy reach as well. Further afield, visitors can discover Achill Island, Croagh Patrick and the Ceide Fields.
