Welcome to Jerpoint Park, where we strive to immerse you in a unique experience of heritage and culture in a very special destination, Thomastown in Kilkenny, in south east Ireland.

Unearth the history of Jerpoint Park with a guided heritage tour of a deserted 12th Century Medieval town, which was founded near a crossing point on the River Nore near the Cistercian Jerpoint Abbey.

The site also contains the tomb effigy of St. Nicholas (Bishop of Myra) plus the Church of St. Nicholas. 'One of Irelands's best examples of a deserted 12th Century medieval town', a quote from The Heritage Council of Ireland.

Savour the delicious home made scones baked daily during the summer months in our tea rooms. Sheep dog demonstrations with geese or sheep is a wonderful thing to see.

Also Jerpoint Park Angling in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny, where a wonderful day's fishing can be enjoyed on the banks of the River Nore for wild salmon and wild brown trout. This is a 2 kilometre stretch of single bank fishing with good fly water situated downstream from Mount Juliet and upstream from Thomastown. Season is from March to September. Rods and bait are available for hire plus the services of a ghillie (a guide for tuition) is also available pre-booked.

We look forward to welcoming you fishing at Jerpoint Park.
