Old Head is a remarkably dramatic piece of Ireland, protruding more than two miles into the Atlantic Ocean. Located in County Cork on the South West coast, The Old Head of Kinsale is home to a world-class, 18-hole golf course. From the tips, the course stretches more than 7,000yd, with a minimum of five tees per hole. Nine holes play along the cliff tops and all 18 holes provide stunning ocean views. Facilities include a warm-up range and a short-game practice area.

An early lighthouse was established here in the 17th century by Robert Reading. It is also the nearest land point to the site of the sinking RMS Lusitania in 1915.

They say the best way to see Kinsale is from the sea. And perhaps the best way to understand Kinsale is with former fisherman Jerome at the helm. Hop on board The Spirit of Kinsale - taking you across the Harbour, past the Charles Fort and right to the Atlantic's edge.
