A lakeside paradise and a fisherman's dream, Lakeland is situated on the western shore of Lough Corrib, Ireland's premiere wild brown trout fishery, only 3 kilometres from the village of Oughterard, and 20 kilometres from Galway City.

Lakeland is a bright and spacious home. All rooms are on the ground floor with individual access to the garden. Large lake-view suites have magnificent views of Portacarron Bay.

At Lakeland, you are well placed for a number of activities, and it is an ideal base for the outdoor enthusiast. There is an angling/boating centre on site. The local 18-hole Oughterard Golf Course is nearby, and others are located within a one hour drive. There is hill-walking close by (the famous Western Way begins in Oughterard). There are also horse-riding facilities available.

Sightseeing along the west coast can stretch from the cliffs of Moher to Westport, the Aran Islands, Connemara and everything in between.
