Heritage Experience
An interactive exhibition and tours of the Overend family home brings the world of the Overend sisters to life

Ornamental Gardens
The Walled Garden and Greenhouse reflect the Overend's passion for plants. Airfield gardeners are always on hand to answer your gardening questions

An interactive display garage provides you with access to the Overend’s family cars including Letitia’s 1927 Rolls Royce

Watch the eggs being collected from the chicken coupe at 10am and milking of the famous Jersey cows at 10.30am daily

Kitchen Garden
Airfield's food gardens produce much of the fresh food that goes directly into the field to fork restaurant on the estate – Overends

Woodland Walks
With over 2,000 native trees, the landscape provides important wildlife corridors which improves the habitats of Airfield’s bird and insect populations

A fun, play area for 4-12 year old's with a zip wire, balance beam, willow tunnels and much more

Grey Barn
A special indoor/outdoor imaginative play space for 0-4 year old children

Overends Restaurant
This is the perfect place to enjoy the taste of Airfield on a plate

Open daily from 9.30am to 5pm (late admission in the summer months), Airfield offers a place where you can reflect, be replenished and celebrate the connection between people and nature through the farm, gardens and natural environment.

There are also a number of complimentary and paid workshops and events for visitors of all ages throughout the year and of course educational camps, all of which are packed with exciting adventures for little ones to enjoy.

Airfield Estate is a charitable organization established by Letitia and Naomi Overend in 1974. All activities are self-funded and therefore the estate fully relies on your support to ensure our unique amenity continues to live on as a resource for your enjoyment and that of future generations.

Annual memberships are available to purchase and by becoming a member you can enjoy Airfield Estate as often as you like. Membership offers you access to our experience all year round and entitles you to discounts on paid events and workshops as well as discount off food purchased in Overends Restaurant.

Airfield Estate is located just off the M50 at junction 13 then follow the R825 to Overend Way. Complimentary car parking is available for all visitors allocated parking for coaches.

Public transport also serves the estate with the Luas green line (Balally stop) being a short 5 minute walk to Airfield and Dublin Bus for the following buses - 11, 14, 14C, 44, 44B, 75 and 116.
