Mount Juliet House is an architectural gem which pays tribute to 18th century craftsmanship while the Estate is steeped in history dating back to the 15th century. Each reception room has been tastefully restored with new furnishings, silk curtains, 100% pure wool carpets and rich interiors honouring its fascinating history.

This accolade was awarded for both its service and contemporary menu. In 2017, the Lady Helen Restaurant won the "Destination Restaurant of the Year" in the coveted Food & Wine awards.

As part of a stay at Mount Juliet Estate guests are encouraged to take a tour of the Estate. The tour will take guests around the 500 acre Estate and includes a visit to Ballylinch Stud, the Mount Juliet Estate Equestrian Centre, the 18th century walled gardens, a tour of the Manor House and a visit to one of our three lakes and the River Nore.

The Estate offers a variety of exhilarating leisure activities onsite. The Mount Juliet Equestrian Centre offers basic tuition, trail riding, cross country jumping to riders and will tailor instruction programmes to the rider’s specific needs. The Archery range provides a challenge to marksmen and would-be “Robin Hoods”. Salmon and trout fishing is available on the River Nore which runs through the Estate. Experience the ancient sport of falconry, where guests have a chance to handle these magnificent creatures, letting them fly from a gloved hand and returning to feed.

Tuition and equipment can be provided for all sports and if all of this is not enough, Mount Juliet Estate is a golfers' paradise with the signature Jack Nicklaus 18-hole golf course. For those seeking golf tuition, The Paul McGinley Golf Academy at Mount Juliet Estate is an advanced golf training facility which includes the Trackman golf swing analysis software, a number of driving bays, ideal for those wishing to enhance their game during their stay at Mount Juliet Estate.

Those who prefer to remain indoors can enjoy the health club and relaxing spa treatment suites in the nearby Hunter’s Yard. The Health Club features a 15 metre heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gymnasium.

Just five minutes' walk from the Manor house, is the newly developed Hunter's Yard with its bright and spacious rooms adjacent to the Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course featuring the tempting menus of the recently opened restaurant The Hound.
