Science Gallery is a venue where art and science meet to ignite creativity and discovery, it's where ideas provoke and opinions collide. It's one of the top free cultural attractions in Ireland, and centrally located in Trinity College.
The mission of the Gallery at Trinity College Dublin is to ignite creativity and discover where science and art collide and to catalyse the development of the world's leading network for involving, inspiring, and transforming curious minds through science. The Science Gallery achieve this by encouraging the audience to discover, express and pursue their passion for science through an ever-changing programme of exhibitions, events and experience.
A groundbreaking imitative by Trinity College Dublin, Science Gallery first opened it's doors in 2008. To date over 3 million people have experienced 40 unique Science exhibitions - 4 of which toured various locations around the world, ranging from living art experiments to material science and from the future of the human species to the future of play.
The gallery has created a loyal following of visitors and has built a strong community through an every-changing programme. The programme is fueled by the expertise of scientists, researchers, students, artists, designers, inventors, creative thinkers and entrepreneurs, creating a unique model of engagement with science. Science Gallery Dublin is focused on providing programmes and experiences that allow visitors to participate and facilitate social connections, while always providing an element of surprise.

On site there is also a bustling café which as been described as 'The best café of any science centre in the world' (The Irish Times) where you can enjoy lunch or a coffee after your visit to the exhibition, along with a shop selling a treasure trove of goodies including the latest science and art books, tools and games.
Visit the MakeShop, a workshop space where you can create your own robot or DIY radio, suitable for all ages.
