Courtown Seal Rescue Centre is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick, injured and orphaned seal pups from around Ireland. Meet the rescued seal pups and learn all about the rehabilitation process.

Courtown Seal Rescue Centre is nestled in woodland on the Wexford coast is a volunteer run, not for profit organisation dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick, injured and abandoned seals from around the coast of Ireland. We are open daily throughout the summer from 10am and welcome visitors who wish to see the seals in our care and learn more about our work. The number of seals in care varies over the season so if you’re planning a visit call in advance for up to date numbers. Family educational activities and talks provided.
There is no charge for entry but all donations are appreciated. All the proceeds from donations go directly to caring for the seals, whether this is buying fish, paying for medication and vets bills or paying the electricity bill to power heat lamps and liquidisers to make fish soup!
