Residential drama activity holiday for young people aged 8-18, in spectacular setting.

The Summer Drama Activity Holiday with Centre Stage, taking place during individual weeks in July and August each year, is a wonderful opportunity for young people aged 8 -18 to take part in dance, drama, mime, singing, filming, and more - even Shakespeare, but don't panic - Hamlet has been hit with a Custard Pie more than once! Staff are drawn from the world of professional theatre and music. Each holiday lasts for a full week, with a final show for friends and family at the end of the week, and elements from all the week's activities included. There is no audition - everyone can take part, entertaining their families with a confidence that will have all the stars of stage, screen or pop worried!

The holiday is fully residential (although non-residential participants are very welcome), and the cost includes all activities, accommodation and meals. Visitors from all parts of Europe (and further afield) have been and are welcomed to Summer Drama - we have a 'Collect And Return' service to and from all the major air/sea ports in Northern Ireland.

The holiday takes place in Kilmore House, formerly an ancestral home of the McDonnells of Antrim and Kintyre. The house is situated on the slopes of Glenariff - the 'Queen of the Glens' - in the spectacular Glens of Antrim, and there are stunning views across the glen and down towards the sea - even Scotland can be seen on a clear day! Drama is a predominantly 'indoor' activity, so while we hope for an 'untypical' Irish summer, the show always goes on!

Summer Drama Holidays have been welcoming children to the excitements of Drama, Dance and Music for over thirty years.

"One of the nine best activity holidays in the UK" - Daily Telegraph.
"One of the ten best creative outings for children" - The Independent
