Don't miss 'The Upsetter' when he rolls into town for a legendary gig at Cork's Cypress Avenue.
He's one of the biggest names in reggae and for good reason; an original from the word 'go', Lee 'Scratch' Perry has been making music for 60 amazing years.
His prolific career as producer and artist is the stuff of industry legend; he's been credited with pairing Peter Tosh with Bob Marley and The Wailers - an innovative music partnership if ever there was one - as well as helping to carve out the now-beloved DUB genre with the use of sound effects in performance and in the studio.
Having collaborated with everyone from from The Skatalites to The Clash, his influence is widely felt across genres, and at the impressive age of 81, Perry is still holding court with his ever-solid backing band as the king of live reggae.
With sell-out shows around the globe, you won't want to wait to get your ticket to see the man himself when he rolls into town to play at Cork's Cypress Avenue this March.
