A chance to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and connect with nature.
A chance to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and connect with nature on a guided walking tour with an expert local ecologist.
Begin your journey with an authentic Irish Walking Tour through unique landscape of the Sperrins Uplands. The tour expertly led by local guide and ecologist Martin Bradley from Landscape and countryside Tours will allow you to embrace the plant life and archaeology of the region’s ancient peatland habitats.
After an enjoyable day, out on the hills spend the night in the 4-star White Horse Hotel where you can relax in the hotel's leisure club facilities before enjoying a 3-course meal with locally produced and traditionally made options prepared by the hotel's award winning Chef Noel Ward. Your meal will be served with a bottle of wine. After dinner, there will be an opportunity to experience some local history and Irish Folklore in the Lounge Bar during the Storytelling-Seanchai sessions or get your foot tapping to some traditional Irish music.
After a peaceful night’s sleep enjoy a full breakfast and late checkout (so you can enjoy a final swim or relax in the jacuzzi). As an added treat on check out you’ll be presented with handmade chocolate truffles spiked with local whiskey ‘The Quiet Man’, as a reminder of your trip.
