Clontarf, now a coastal suburb on the north side of Dublin, lead the national celebrations surrounding the anniversary & included everything from a Lark in the Park to a Battle of Clontarf Golf Open, to a programme of historic lectures. The commemoration was a glorious occasion and attracted over 40,000 spectators!
