First opened to the public in 1960, Westport House & Grounds is one of Ireland’s best loved heritage attractions.
The Old Coastguard Station, Westport, lies 8km north west of Westport Town. It housed 12 coastguard families from 1879 to 1921, after which the buildings were handed over to the Free State government.
