Everything about the church speaks about the sea with many nautical artifacts.
There are many Church buildings in Belfast, but surely none as unusual as Sinclair Seamen's.
Located in Belfast's Docklands, in Sailortown, the church was designed by Sir Charles Lanyon and opened in 1857. Everything about the church speaks about the sea with many nautical artifacts. The ringing of the bell of H.M.S. Hood, from the first World War, marks the commencement of the Sunday evening service.
