Skibbereen Rowing Club

The Skibbereen Rowing Club is affiliated with the Irish Amateur Rowing Union and is located on the outskirts of Skibbereen town, on the banks of the River Ilen, a tidal estuary entering the sea at the village of Baltimore, County Cork.
Skibbereen Rowing Club is one of the best clubs in the country with 136 National titles second in the overall national titles record. Club members have also contributed to very many Irish National Rowing Crews at International level over the past forty one years. The club has contributed enormously to the rising standard of rowing in Ireland, competing successfully with the best in Europe and the world.

The club caters for both male and female athletes, aged ten years and upwards and members compete at all levels from Olympic to ordinary domestic regattas. The club prides itself on its record of coaching oarspeople from beginner level to world class.
The Club has top class facilities which includes a large boathouse, an Ergometer room, weights room, gym, meeting room and changing rooms.
