The Glyde Inn was established in the 1700's and is situated in Annagassan famous for linn duachaill, a famous Viking Longphort located in an area of outstanding natural beauty overlooking the Cooley and Mourne Mountains.
The pub was established in 1770. The proprietors today are Paul and Ann O'Neill, who have built up the business since 1976.
The bar has maintained its original authentic Irish look, untouched and unhurried by the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Traditional Irish music is held every Thursday and Friday nights in the lounge attracting young and old for some craic agus ceoil.
