The Seahorse Tavern is Tramore’s first and only gastro pub where gorgeous food is served in a stylish bar environment 7 days a week from 9.30am to 9pm. Live acoustic bands play in this intimate setting on weekend evenings . A visit is essential if you appreciate good food and good music. With a healthy kids menu, games at the bar and baby changing facilities, the Seahorse welcomes families with children of all ages. Breakfast is served from 9.30 to 12noon, offering a traditional “All Irish” as well as Eggs Benedict and a Deise blaa. Lunch specials are available from 12 noon to 4pm at very reasonable prices. The table d’hÔte menu runs from 4pm to 8.30pm offering a 2 and 3 course menu for €15.45 or €19.95. A la carte runs from 12 to 9pm every day, offering old favourites such as fish and chips and beef and Guinness casserole as well as a Tramore tasting plate which is a mini showcase of local meats and cheeses. The ever-popular Sunday roasts are €9.95. Outside catering is available.
