Killarney Riding Stables offers hacking, trekking and trail riding into Killarney’s National Park for 1, 2 and 3 hour durations.
Originally established by Mr. Donie O'Sullivan in the late 1960s, today Killarney Riding Stables remains a family affair and is run by Donie and his wife Noreen, son William and daughters Lorraine and Aoife.
Located just two kilometres from the heart of Killarney town in County Kerry and close to the world-renowned Killarney National Park, this is an area of great natural beauty and a joy to explore on horseback.
At the stables, approved by the Irish Tourist Board and AIRE, they are delighted to offer hacking, trekking and trail riding in the National Park for one, two and three hour excursions. You ride in the way that you’re most comfortable with, from a gentle walk to a lively canter over wood and parkland terrain.
For longer visits, why not try the Killarney Reeks/Ring of Kerry Trail Ride, two and five day outings taking in mountains, beach, bog, forestry and country lanes. They also specialise in hacking, trekking & trail riding in the National Park
Accommodation is their Luxuriothem five-bedroom detached lodge, or, if that’s not available, they’ll be happy to recommend somewhere in the area.
