Irish Design Shop sells only products that are made in Ireland. It is run by two NCAD graduates, who's metalwork studio is run next door to the shop, where customers can see in to where the work is made. There are also 12 other artists and makers resident in the studios in the building that are often on hand for a chat with customers (some sell their work through the shop, some do not). Jewellery workshops are run at weekends throughout the year. Irish Design Shop HQ is located just opposite the Stephen's Green shopping centre/ College of Surgeons car park entrance. At the second outlet in the RHA gallery there is on-street parking, as well as being located inside one of Dublin's finest art galleries, where there is a cafe and toilet facilities. Learning: We run 2 day workshops at weekends, jewellery techniques courses (aimed at adults, both beginners and intermediate) and Make your own Wedding Rings workshops (aimed at couples interested in creating their own unique wedding bands)
