The Ferryman Pub offers visitors a warm and traditional atmosphere with lively entertainment.
Located in the heart of Dublin on Sir John Rogerson Quay overlooking the River Liffey.

The Ferryman was built in the the 1780's by Lord Cardiff. It comprises of two listed Georgian buildings full of character and restored to their origial splendour.

In the past, the ferry crossed at the point bringing workers from the north to the south quays to Dublin's gasometer, bananna factory and ship building yard.As recently as the mid 1980's Guinness boats carrying barrels of their famous brew sailed past The Ferryman.

The Ferryman Bar is a great bar that has a wonderful atmosphere and retains its old world character.
It is of the best places for ceol agus craic (drink and good fun) in the city with the cream of Irelands traditional and folk community often arriving for a spontaneous jam to set the twilight reeling.

If the hot whiskies and the blazing fire downstairs don't warm the cockles of your heart, nothing will. There is a bar menu and the Southbank Restaurant has an extensive menu with something available for everyone.
