With a reputation for quality, at The Derg Inn we offer really good food, locally sourced seasonal produce which is picked and delivered at a moments notice, top quality beef, fresh fish and seafood from the Atlantic, game in season, a bar full of character and creativity and a great pint. You will find us in the heart of award-winning Terryglass village on the shores of Lough Derg. Terryglass is one of the most visited villages in North Tipperary with its historic monuments, stunning lake views and modern marina – a haven for boating and water sports enthusiasts, fishermen and nature lovers. Terryglass also offers a range of accommodation providers, details of which you will find on our website. We have a lively traditional music session every Sunday from 7pm throughout the year and live music on Fridays and Saturdays in the summer season. For those occasions when the sun shines we have outside tables and a lovely beer garden surrounded by an historic bawn wall. We are child friendly, wheelchair friendly and just plain all-round friendly. We also cater for functions with food from our restaurant kitchen or barbecued in the beer garden. Highlights of the year in Terryglass include The Derg Inn Weekend of a Thousand Candles in February, the village St Patrick’s Day celebrations, our Summer season, the now famous Derg Inn Annual Fancy Dress on the October Bank Holiday – whatever time you choose to visit it’s always magic.
