Into The West 2000 Horse Drawn Caravans in Loughrea, County Galway offers a unique holiday which invites visitors to experience a way of life, a culture, people and landscape, combined with an activity which practically anyone can enjoy.
Into the West 2000 Horse Drawn Caravans based at Cartron House Farm, Loughrea, County Galway will provide everything visitors need to take time to experience the beautiful countryside, to find those out of the way places and hidden gems, and to interact with friendly locals.
The beauty of the horse-drawn caravan holiday is that it nurtures this kind of contact; visitors cannot help being won over by the warmth and sociability of people they meet, or drawn to the sound of music and laughter emanating from wonderful old pubs. Add to this the liberating sense of independence that visitors get from breaking free from their daily routine and doing something unique and exciting, and it really is the perfect holiday.
The caravan is designed to be as comfortable and as compact as possible, yet light enough for one horse to pull. It has sleeping accommodation for four/five people, a cooker, sink/wash-basin, kitchen equipment and seating to allow holiday meals to be prepared and served in the caravan. Internal lighting is also provided.
Visitors will be given instruction and practice in leading and driving the horse and caravan before leaving on their tour.
