A large, award-winning centre found near Naas, County Kildare, Johnstown Garden Centre was established in 1974. Over the years, the centre has expanded and today it includes plant halls, a cafe and parking. It is fully wheelchair accessible.

John and Elsie Clarke founded the Johnstown Garden Centre in August 1974 on a greenfield site in the quaint ancient village of Johnstown, near Naas, County Kildare. The award-winning centre has been the recipient of many prestigious awards and recognition during the years including Garden Centre of the Year, and a five-star quality award from Horticulture Ireland, the government agency responsible for Irish horticulture.

In 2005, the Garden Centre moved to a new site, which is six times bigger than the original one. It features very extensive plant halls, a bright airy shopping environment, café, and very extensive car and coach parking.

The entire centre is fully wheelchair accessible, with special parking bays and toilet facilities.
