Cork English College also offer Junior English and Multi-Activity Camps for students aged between 10 and 17 during the summer months. CEC have been arranging Junior Summer Activity Programmes for the past 35 years. The courses aim to be innovative and improve the students’ use and command of the English Language through classes and activities. All of the activities are fully supervised by professional trainers and they are recognised by the Department of Education. Junior groups may also avail of Winter Mini-Stay programmes. These English Language programmes are available to groups of school aged teenagers and include an optional activity course.

Students stay in both host families and residential accommodation. The benefits of host family accommodation include immersion into the traditional Irish family lifestyle and continual use and improvement of the English language. The Residential Complexes are fully supervised and located in one of the cities universities. These complexes are fully furnished. For junior students, residential accommodation is only available to group bookings.

Outside of the classroom, CEC arrange social and cultural activities for students, and include excursions to famous and historical towns and sites in the South of Ireland. Afternoon and day-trips visit Cobh, Blarney, Kinsale, Barryscourt Castle and Midleton Distillery to name but a few. The evening programmes introduce students to traditional Irish music and dancing, bowling and much more.
