Larne Museum and Arts Centre houses permanent and temporary exhibition galleries.
Housed in the former Carnegie Free Library, Larne Museum and Arts Centre boasts one permanent and one temporary exhibition gallery, an auditorium and an education room. The Museum charts Larne Borough’s maritime, agricultural, industrial and social history through a range of exhibits and interactive features. The temporary gallery plays host to a wide variety of exhibitions each year including historic, costume and art exhibitions. The building is also home to Larne Drama Circle and Larne Art Club who hold club meetings and classes during the season from September to March. There are also a number of events held throughout the year which can include murder mystery evenings, launches, musical evenings and art workshops etc.
