Beginning at North Down Museum you will learn of North Down’s Ulster Scots heritage from St Patrick to the O’Neill’s and Hamilton as well as viewing the historic Raven maps.
On to Groomsport, departure point for the Eagle Wing ship, where you will hear of the influence on this part of the coast before heading to Holywood via Clandeboye and Cultra.
The tour culminates at Bangor Abbey with the 1798 rebellion before returning to the Museum.
You will have time to enjoy lunch at the Museum or in Bangor town centre followed by leisure time.
