Located adjacent to Durrus Village in West County Cork, Carraig Abhainn Gardens are spread out over 1 hectare. The tranquil gardens feature winding paths around islands of trees, flowers and shrubs, many of which are rare and unusual.
Carraig Abhainn is the beautiful garden of Hazel and Eugene Wiseman. Situated in Durrus, in scenic West County Cork, Carraig Abhainn is a large, 1-hectare garden bounded by a mill stream. It has wonderful sense of peace and serenity.
The mature trees along the riverbank and the surrounding hills give very welcome shelter and protection for a wide variety of tender plants. The garden consists of islands of trees and shrubs surrounded by grass, bark and gravel paths. It has four unique bridges crossing the mill stream.
Guided tours and parking are available. Coaches are also welcome.
