Fenit is located close to Fenit Harbour in County Kerry. This is a sandy beach and is also a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and proposed Natural Heritage Area (pNHA).

Fenit is a sheltered an sandy beach located in County Kerry. It is ideal for bathing and swimming and has great facilities including a large car park, toilets, picnic tables and a nearby playground.

The beach lies within the Tralee Bay and Magharees Peninsula, West to Cloghane Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and proposed Natural Heritage Area (pNHA).

Fenit is lifeguarded during the summer and more information can be found on the noticeboard located at the beach.

The beach has received the International Blue Flag award for 2014.
