Welcome to Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way!
The Wild Atlantic Way is a touring route that takes you along the entire west coast of Ireland. It totals around 2500 kilometers without straying from the coastline.
If you're driving
In Ireland, we drive on the left side of the road and driver’s seats are on the right side of the vehicle. All the speed limits are posted in kilometers per hour, and the route has been marked with the Wild Atlantic Way logo. Just look for the signposts along the way to know you are on the right track.
The Wild Atlantic Way features a variety of sightseeing locations, as well as opportunities for guided tours, venues, viewing points, music and excellent food along the way. Go whale watching and then enjoy an amazing seafood dinner in County Cork; take a walk along the dramatic Cliffs of Moher and stop for homemade ice cream after, or see the Northern Lights along the Donegal coastline.
We’ve done the research to leave you more time to fully enjoy your drive along the Wild Atlantic Way.
