Step into the world of 'The Fadgies' in Belfast.  The Fadgies were native Irish speakers from Omeath who moved to Belfast in the 19th century working as fish and fruit sellers. They settled in Smithfield and created Belfast's first Urban Gaeltacht, later moving to the Falls Rd where many of their descendants settled in what is now the city's Gaeltacht Quarter.

This is a 30min site-specific performance in a typical terrace house from the 19th Century.  Numbers are limited to 10.

Meet at the Cultrlann, 216 Falls Rd and you will be guided to the venue within a short walking distance.

A Bi-lingual performance - Irish/English.
