The Community Marquee at The Gasyard Park will host music, comedy, dances, fashion shows and a range of family events throughout the festival. Bluebell Arts will host a series of art & craft workshops at The Arts Factory, an exhibition of art by Open Door Collective and a fashion show featuring work produced by crochet/crafts enthusiasts. As well as a range of art workshops, Féile 2014 has a number of events for children and young people including music and sporting events, fun days, day-trips and adventure days while the programme also features a series of dances, social events, health events and day trips for older members of the community. Sporting highlights at Féile 2014 include the The Jog In The Bog, Féile Boat Race, Padraig Barton Cup, The Legenderry Swim, the Barry O’Kane Cup and the MAC Cup.

Residents and visitors alike will be able to explore the area’s history on Tuesday August 12 as Aras Cholmcille, The Siege Museum, The Museum of Free Derry and The Heritage Museum open their doors for Féile Heritage Day.

With Derry’s music scene stronger than ever, Féile continues it’s tradition of supporting and showcasing the best local talent. Musical highlights include performances from several hotly tipped and in-demand bands including Ports, Best Boy Grip, The Wood Burning Savages, The Clameens and Glenn Rosborough who will all perform at the Féile Finale concert on Saturday August 16.

Féile 2014 is funded by Derry City Council Community Festivals Fund, and Department of Culture Arts and Leisure and is a collaboration of a multitude of groups, initiatives, volunteers and residents from throughout the Bogside, Brandywell, Creggan, Bishop Street and Fountain areas who come together each year to shape and manage the programme of events.
