The Smyth family laid out Ballynatray House and Demense, Temple Michael, Co. Waterford, over a time interval of more than three hundred years. The first house was fortified early in the 17th Century. A century later, the house was remodelled again and finally, the house as it stands today, was built between 1795 and 1797. Molana Abbey the small kitchen garden and pleasure ground.
Will open on selected days throughout 2015.

Ballynatray Gardens are open to the public from May 2 - Aug 30,10am- 4pm between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 pm. Gardens are not open when the estate is booked privately. Access to the Gardens is via the pedestrian gate at the main entrance and parking is available at Templemichael car park near the main entrance.
