Errislannan Manor is home to splendid gardens, with a range of plant life to enjoy. Set near Clifden, County Galway and overlooking a trout lake, the manor is a member of the Royal Horticultural Society of Ireland Gardens for Charity scheme.
Errislannan Manor is located on the west coast of Ireland, just 6.5km south of Clifden, County Galway. Sheltered by a surrounding wood, the manor overlooks the trout lake and is bounded by Connemara's moors and mountains. It houses the Errislannan Manor Connemara pony stud and riding centre and is the home of the Connemara branch of the Irish Pony Club. It is also a member of the Royal Horticultural Society of Ireland Gardens for Charity scheme.
The garden is open to the public. In April the woodlands of are full of daffodils, while May brings beautiful bluebells and in August it is the turn of the orange mombretia. Spring brings the camellias, azaleas, rhododendrons and the other flowering shrubs. In summer, the herbaceous border is at its best and in autumn, the variety and colours of hydrangeas are spectacular.
