The Folk Museum at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum in Cultra tells the story of life in early 20th century Ulster. Costumed visitor guides bring history to life for visitors of all ages by telling stories and demonstrating crafts from bygone days.

This free exhibition in the Space at Ards Visitor Information Centre will let you see some of these crafts in action and see some of the 30,000 images available from the Museum's extensive Picture Library looking at local craft and history.

Each Saturday between11:00 and13:00 come along and meet with master crafts men and women from the Folk Museum and watch them demonstrate thir crafts from basket weaving to blacksmithing.

Please note that the exhibition is closed on Sundays.
