Founded in 1945, Balbriggan Golf Club is among the premier parkland courses in Leinster. The newly-designed course re-opened for play in June 2009. It has newly designed water hazards, mature trees, new USGA stand base greens and tee boxes.
Balbriggan Golf Club, located just 15 minutes from Dublin Airport via the M1 motorway is now among the premier parkland courses in the Leinster area.
Founded in 1945, Balbriggan Golf club has undergone major redevelopment in the past two years, which has seen the course redesigned under the guidance of Mr Eddie Connaughton. These works have now modernised the course complete with the highest USGA standard sand-base greens and tee boxes. The blend of mature trees and newly designed water hazards which come into play on seven holes, give an intriguing character to the course and provide golfers with variety and a challenging round. The newly-developed course has been open for play since June 2009.
