The cycle takes you to an earthen ring fort, a stone fort, to the town land of Gleninsheen where the famous Irish Bronze Age Collar of Gold was found in 1934, Gleninsheen wedge shaped gallery grave (another of Ireland’s many Diarnaid’s and Grainne’s Bed). Also on route is the world famous Poulnabroune Portal Tomb and Caherconnell stone fort, Poulawack Cairn, the Kilconrney caves,
Cahermacnaughten stone fort home to the famous O'Dabhoireann Law School.

Finally cycle to the top of the famous Corkscrew Hill to enjoy amazingly beautiful views of Ballyvaughan valley and Galway Bay before coasting down to Burren Fine Wine and Food for breakfast. Here you will be greeted with aromas of freshly brewed coffee and home baking. You can choose a breakfast of fresh free range eggs from a neighbouring farm and hot scones straight from the oven or an organic smoked salmon bagel using salmon from the Burren Smokehouse and Manhattan bagels made down the road in New Quay.
