Ride Wild 2014 Week 1 - Finnish Blogger Satu tackles Ireland's North West Coast at the beginning of her Wild Atlantic Way Adventure.

Finnish Blogger Satu Vänskä-Westgarth has begun the all mighty task of cycling Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way and has already completed Week 1. From beautiful spells of sunshine to 'very random' weather Satu has certainly been Riding Wild this week.

Satu Donegal

The Wild Atlantic Way is the world’s longest defined coastal route and takes in some of the most stunning and dramatic scenery Ireland can offer. Satu has started her journey of cycling this magnificent coastline and after Week 1 of the 2,500km cycle the realisation of what's ahead could not be clearer.

From the most unpredictable weather to the friendliest people Satu is right on her way along the Wild Atlantic Way. Huge cliffs, winding roads and mistakenly discovering some of the country’s finest attractions Satu and her friend Anne Marit are having a great experience.

In Week 1 Satu started off in County Derry and has cycled all the way along Ireland's North West Coastline through County Donegal to the seaside village of Rossnowlagh just south of the county.

Read how after week 1 Satu and her friend Anne Marit discovered Glenveagh National Park, The Slieve League Cliffs, the nature, the people, the magnificent landscapes , the weather and of course the pubs on Satu's own blog  here.
